Summer bearings include a lot of green vegetables, melons, peaches, corn, mangoes and other fresh and fragrant herbs. Local markets are at their best during summer, when fruits are abundant and vegetables are as fresh as can be.

1.Watermelon:
This fruit is a hydration hero and fluids are exactly what you need when the heat is on. Watermelon’s high water content keeps you cool and hydrated.
2. Tomatoes:
While tomatoes are filled with antioxidants and Vitamin C, they also contain beneficial Phyto chemicals such as lycopene which contribute to chronic diseases especially cancer.
3. Keera:
Keera is the Part of the summer squash family, zucchini contains a fiber called pectin which is linked to increasing heart health and lowering cholesterol.
4. Oranges:
The sweet citrus fruit is rich in potassium, a nutrient that’s crucial in the summer. You lose potassium through sweat, which puts you at risk for muscle cramps. Eating oranges replenishes your supply and keeps muscle cramps away. Oranges are also about 80% water.
5. Barley Water:
Have two glasses a day and in case you find it bland, add a drop of lemon or honey for taste. Since barley water is rich in fiber, it prevents constipation and also helps in controlling your appetite.
6. Butter milk:

8. Apples and kiwis:
These foods are high in fiber too. Keep the skin on apples and pears for the maximum nutritional impact.
9. Green tea:

13. Lime water:
Lime water also referred to as Nimboo pani is another refreshing drink for summer. A glass of lime water provides many health benefits. You can have sweet lime water can add salt, a pinch of cumin powder to it to enhance its flavour. Lime water keeps you chilled and refreshed all day long.
14. Onion:
You may get surprised to know that onions too provide cooling properties. Eating them raw may ruin your taste, hence mix it with lemon and salt and prepare salads.
