It is a beautiful and complex time. One of the most noticeable changes that women experience is the appearance of vaginal discharge, this is due to increased blood and estrogen levels. This fluid is characterized by being very varied in its color and consistency, something in which you should always be very careful, since according to this it may or may not be serious.

Top remedies to treat yellow discharge

Care in diet: a proper diet will be key throughout the pregnancy process, because if you consume many foods that are rich in toxins, the only thing that will be generated is that estrogen manages to dominate. It is important to reduce the intake of foods rich in fat and calories, as estrogen levels will be affected and the amount of fluids will rise. Therefore, it is recommended to eat foods that reduce this reaction, such as: bananas, milk, honey, fenugreek seeds.

Apple cider vinegar is acidic in nature. This acidity ensures that the pH of the vaginal area is changed in the favor of the healthy bacteria. This acidity also does away with the bad odor that comes out of the vagina each time you have an infection. It is thus a natural antiseptic when used correctly.
o Mix the apple cider vinegar and water in equal parts.
o For the next three days, use this mixture to clean your vagina twice a day.

Reduce the use of irritating panty liners: during pregnancy the amount of vaginal fluid rises, so many women use panty liners to reduce the discomfort that this generates, however a good choice should be made, since many They are usually highly perfumed, which causes the vaginal pH to change and infections and irritations are triggered. It is necessary to make a good choice and change underwear twice a day, also use clothes that are 100% cotton.

Okra: Okra, also known as lady’s finger, is beneficial in treating leukorrhea. Being mucilaginous in nature, okra helps remove mucous from your system, in turn reducing vaginal discharge.
1. Wash 100g okras and cut them into small pieces.
2. Boil the okra pieces in half a liter or about two cups of water for 20 minutes until the water is reduced to half.
3. Strain and divide this solution into three parts.
4. Take one part of this solution along with some honey three times daily.
5. Follow this remedy until condition improves.

Do not use oily-based vaginal lubricants: the use of lubricants reduces pain during sexual intercourse and increases pleasure, but they can also be counterproductive, since they help to increase the appearance of bacteria and fungi, therefore, they will increase the infections and increase the amount of vaginal discharge. Also, these oils can cause itching, inflammation and a bit of discomfort in the vaginal area.

Bananas: Owing to the high amounts of vitamin A and C in bananas, it is used to clean the bodily fluids such as the vaginal discharges. For this remedy, you will need ripe bananas.

o Sieve out the juice with the strainer then let it cool.
o Drink this juice daily for seven days.

Fenugreek Seeds: Fenugreek seeds help improve the pH level in the vagina and are also also believed to affect estrogen levels. Plus, the seeds work as a natural immune booster.
• Soak one teaspoon of fenugreek seeds in water overnight. The next morning, strain the water and add one-half teaspoon of honey. Drink it on an empty stomach.
• Alternatively, boil two teaspoons of fenugreek seeds in four cups of water for 30 minutes. Strain and allow it to cool. Use this water as a vaginal wash three or four times daily until the symptoms subside

Banana: Bananas are another good home remedy for leukorrhea. The fruit is also useful in relieving complaints like digestive disturbances and lethargy that could be accompanying the problem.
• Eat one to two overripe bananas daily to help control leukorrhea.
• You can also mix two tablespoons of banana flower juice with two teaspoons of powdered palmyrah candy and have it once daily.
Follow these remedies daily until you get the desired result.

• Soak two to three dried figs in one cup of water overnight. The next morning, blend the soaked figs in water and drink it on an empty stomach.
