Home remedies for Feet burning

  1. Apple Cider:

Apple Cider Vinegar is considered one of the best home remedy for burning feet and can balance pH level of your body. You can use it in two ways. Drink a mixture of cup of water and some teaspoons of apple cider vinegar each day. You can also soak your feet in the hot water with some apple cider vinegar in it. Add some sea salt to get better result. Also for faster result you can do this method twice per day.

  1. Water:

It is quite easy to get water available at home. You can be relieved from burning sensation as soon as you dip your feet in a tub or a bowl filled with water. You should not put ice-cold water inside the tub. But, you can think of putting few ice cubes in the water with room temperature.

  1. Ginger:

Ginger is another herb that is known to have medicinal properties and helps treat numerous problems, one of them being burning feet. You can mix a spoonful of ginger juice with some olive or coconut oil and massage your feet with it for up to 20 minutes. A cup of ginger tea can also be wonderful in such a condition but massaging is always the better option because it also helps soothe your muscles and improves blood circulation. Ginger is also an effective ingredient for burning feet. It helps in reducing burning sensations in the feet and also increases blood circulation. With a teaspoon of ginger juice, add some olive oil and mix it well. Massage your leg with the mixture for 10-15 minutes. Repeat this treatment once a day. You can also drink ginger tea every day until the condition gets better.

4.  Hot pepper Poultice:

Another way of getting relief from burning feet would be hot pepper. Since this ingredient is readily available at your home kitchen, you can ask your mom to provide you with such home remedies. You should take few red chili pepper and heat on high flame.

  1. Turmeric:

Turmeric helps in improving circulation and blood flow. Also turmeric has curcumin compound and anti-inflammatory properties which help in reducing pain in your feet. Turmeric is known to have medicinal properties. It has anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties and helps soothe your feet and reduce the pain. You can either apply a paste of turmeric and coconut oil on your feet or you can have a glass of milk with a tablespoon of turmeric powder and ghee. Take 2 teaspoons of turmeric with a cup of warm water and have this solution atleast twice a day daily or You can also directly apply turmeric to the affected region 2 times a day. And remember this may stain your feet.

  1. Epsom salt:

Epsom salt due to its magnesium content decreases pain and inflammation in the feet. And also can relieve burning sensation and soothe your feet. It is one of the effective home remedies for burning feet. This salt helps soothe your muscles and release tension and stress and also help in reducing pain and inflammation. It is known to have a high magnesium content and when your skin absorbs magnesium, it helps reduce the effects of burning feet. Add half cup of Epsom salt in a tub and add warm water and mix well. Then soak your feet for about 15 minutes. Do this method once each day. Before doing this process, it is better to ask doctor’s suggestion as it is not suitable for people who are suffering from blood pressure, heart disease or Diabetes.

  1. Recovery with footwear:

Footwear needs to be considered when you are having such a critical situation in your feet. It is advisable to wear extremely clean shoe while visiting your neighbor or proceeding to your office. Also, you must wear dry cotton socks as one of the home remedies if you are really prone to tingling of legs and burning feet.

  1. Bitter Gourd:

You can also use bitter Gourd as it is one of the best remedies for burning feet for a long time. Prepare the bitter gourd paste with bitter gourd leaves and water, Apply the paste on the affected area to reduce the symptom. Repeat the process if it is necessary.

  1. Proper Exercise:

While staying at home, you can start some simple leg and feet exercise. Stretching exercise as one of the home remedies is really effective if you are having burning pains in your leg and feet. Another exercise would be to stand three feet away from the wall and try to touch it with both palms flat.

  1. Cold water:

Cold water is easily available compared to other home remedies, hence it is one of the best remedy for burning feet and is very simple. Swelling, numbness, tingling in the feet will be relieved by this remedy. Fill the foot tub with cold water and soak it for some time. Then take rest for some time and soak it again. Repeat this many times every day. Remember, that soaking in cold water is recommended against Erythromelalgia. It may lead to reactive flaring, ulcers and other skin problems.

You must avoid sugar, tobacco and alcohol to be relieved from burning sensation completely. You must consume diet that is rich in Vitamin B complex as home remedies. Some of the food items that you must consume in such condition include nuts, green leafy vegetables, beans, peas, eggs, etc
