An Overview
Boils and abscesses are red, pus-filled bumps that form under the skin. They’re often painful, and they grow larger until they are drained. Boils are caused by bacteria that infect and then inflame hair follicles. They can grow to the size of a baseball, and the area surrounding the skin can be red and painful, too. You can’t go wrong with an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment, many of which are both fast-acting and soothing. Since many people keep a tube of Neosporin in the medicine cabinet, you might not even have to look far to get it. It may also help keep the infection from spreading. Just as every problem has a solution, heat boils too can be cured naturally and if you hate antibiotics, you need not rely on them to cure your heat boils. You do not have to bear the pain as you wait for their automatic bursting out time also. Try some easy home remedies to cure and treat heat boils. Boils most often form where there’s friction, sweat, or hair. The neckline, face, armpit, and, yes, butt crack are some common hot spots.
Causes of boils
Although boils are categorized as an infection, most boils are not really infection based, they actually develop due to excessive heat in the body that pops up causing painful boils. Some boils occur due to excessive consumption of heat generating foods like mango or jack fruit or drumsticks etc.
